Buckner Cave 9-28-02

For years, Buckner Cave has been vandalized, and stripped of it's natural beauty. Sacrificed to the hooligans of society. Finally, Buckner cave is being managed. It is being prepared to become a future NSS Property.
Although the formations are already gone, and there are millions of spraypainted names / dates /slurs /etc. already on the walls, as well as the hundreds of pounds of trash and garbage left in the cave, it is being protected from future damage by screening the people who plan to visit for proper gear, no drugs or alcohol, and 3 people per group.

Clean-up trips are being discussed among many groups again. It would sure be nice to see the cave in it's natural colors again!!!
